2010 Holiday Schedule
The following holidays have no delay in pickup. Please place your trash/recycling out the night before your regular collection day for your normal pickup for these holidays : MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, PRESIDENTS’ DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, 4th OF JULY, LABOR DAY, COLUMBUS DAY, ELECTION DAY and VETERAN’S DAY.
Thanksgiving: Only customers whose collection falls on Thanksgiving Day will be affected. If your normal collection is on Thursday, Nov 25, you will be collected the following Saturday, Nov 27. Please place your trash/recycling out on Friday night for Saturday collection that week only.
Customers who are collected on Fridays will have normal collection the day after Thanksgiving. Please place your trash/recycling out on Thursday night for Friday collection as usual.
Christmas & New Year’s Day: Christmas & New Year’s Day both fall on Saturday this year; however, customers whose collections fall on Christmas Eve, Friday, Dec 24 and New Year’s Eve, Friday, Dec 31, MUST place their trash/ recycling out on Thursday evening. Pickup will take place much earlier than normal as landfills will be closing early on Christmas and New Year’s Eve’s.
