Disposing of Household Hazardous Waste

Leftover household products that contain toxic, corrosive, ignitable, or reactive ingredients are considered Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), and require special care when you dispose of them.  Pursuant to New York State law, HHW is not allowed in any County Waste and Recycling containers.
